Musselburgh Golf Club is only 20 minutes from the centre of Edinburgh and 30 minutes from Edinburgh Airport, at the east end of the Edinburgh City Bypass.
Musselburgh Golf Club is a top quality Championship course designed by James Braid and opened in 1938. It has the distinction of being the Open Championship Qualifying course in Scotland until 2010 and it will be one of the venues to host the Final Qualifying Competition for the Open Championship when it returns to Muirfield in 2013.
At 6725 yards long and with tree lined fairways and a burn that comes into play at 5 holes, the course is an interesting challenge to all levels of golfer.
Guests are made most welcome every day of the week except Saturday which is set aside for members and club competitions. Visitor tee times can be restricted on a Sunday so it is best to book early.
