If playing every James Braid-designed course in Scotland is on your bucket list, Musselburgh Golf Club is a great place to start. Braid’s thoughtful layouts have stood the test of time, and here it remains largely unchanged from the 1930s original, showcasing strategic bunkering, testing length and tree-lined fairways.

DRESS CODE
We want you to feel as relaxed as possible when you visit us. Out on the course our dress code is smart-casual sportswear (the only rule is no denim, football strips, collarless tops, tracksuits, sports shorts and trainers). In the clubhouse, you’re welcome to come as you are – just remember to leave your golf shoes in the locker room.
MOBILE PHONES
You can use your mobile phone in the clubhouse, but we kindly ask that they are used with consideration and don’t disturb members and guests. Visitors can enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the clubhouse.
In the clubhouse you’ll find everything you need for your visit, including ground-floor changing rooms, showers and lockers for both men and women and free Wi-Fi throughout. The club’s large, free car park can even accommodate coaches.
Groups of eight or more enjoy a 10% discount on visitor tee booking and with our expansive course, practice facilities, choice of clubhouse spaces and delicious food and drink, large groups are well looked-after.
